Series B and B.C. cards are numbered 501-888. In most cases cards for a given number depict the same image for both series. Therefore, the B and B.C. series cards are presented, intermingled, in a single catalog section below. Series I cards are numbered 1-225.
The cards depict primarily French and American film stars. They are dated circa 1939, with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland dressed in costumes from the 1938 film, 'Robin Hood' (cards 764 and 774), and Norma Shearer and Tyrone Power dressed in 'Marie Antoinette' costumes (cards 654 and 799), another 1938 production.
Colors applied to the B.C. Series did not necessarily represent reality. Cards numbered 574 (below) demonstrate this variation in tints, with the dress and face and skin-tone changing color from card to card.
